House of Hoops “DJ” Releases
These Nike sneakers will be made available for purchase by select House of Hoops nationwide tomorrow, Saturday, January 9, 2010. The DJ AM x Nike Dunk high will be sold at House of Hoops Harlem, Chicago, and Cherry Hill Mall (Cherry Hill, NJ). So will either of these be your first big sneaker indulgence of 2010?
Nike and “2010 Winter Olympics”
The 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, are right around the corner, as the opening ceremony will take place on February 12th this year. To commemorate the worldwide event, Nike have once again developed some befitting Dunks. The Nike Dunk High 08 ND once again pays homage to the gold, with two different variations of gold, white, navy, and red. Both Dunks have simple designs and vintage feels as the navy base pair resembles the OG pair from back in the day. These commemorative Dunks are set to release in February, but they’re available for pre-order and ready to ship in February at Crooked Tongues.
Stay Warm, Look Cool
Boot Up
The most stylish gear this season isn't the slickest or sleekest. It's the kind of rugged, butt-kicking pieces that will carry you through the most brutal conditions.
Tighten Up
I'm not here to tell you how to put on a winter hat… Well, actually, now that you mention it, I do have a couple of thoughts. First off, if your knit cap comes with a turned-up fold—wear it that way.
Scarf It Up
Think of a scarf as a necktie for your outerwear—it's that one accessory that people are going to notice. This season we're digging ribbed-knit scarves in subtle stripes. Throw one on over your suit or sports jacket, or knot it tightly beneath your overcoat for a dash of cold-weather panache.
Hit the Slopes
This holiday season, you should be reaching for pieces that embrace timeless style and construction. Like the durable, intricately patterned sweaters in today's slideshow, which will keep you warm while looking Aspen-cool.
